des anyone have an iPhone? is it worth it? can i put it on verizon? how much do you pay a month on what service? thanks!
if it’s about $50-$90 a month does that include everyday use of internet? of do they charge extra?

the iPhone is only available from AT&T… no phone from AT&T will work with Verizon. If you want a Verizon form of the iphone go with the Voyager. Go to MacWorld.com to read reviews on the iPhone, its to much to write

ok so i have an iphone (not a 3g) and i saw the app store on the 3g comercial so i was wondering if the iphone (old one) can have it. if any1 knows if u can could you also say how… thank you

Yes and it’s free. But you need to upgrade your firmware to 2.0 buy plugging in your phone and opening up iTunes and click UPGRADE. It should back up your information and in about 15 minutes you will have the 2.0 and Application store as an icon on your iphone home screen.

Iphone……..?

Tuesday, February 16th, 2010

I have questions about the iphone if there is anyone out there that works for at&t or apple might be able to help me. 1) When is the new iphone coming out? 2) How much will it be? 3) Will it have video? 4) Will it have Instant messenger? 5) how much will the old iphone end up being? 6) Will there be a software you could buy to add all the new things to your old iphone?

Nobody really knows what the new iPhone will have. Apple hasn’t released any specs on updates nor when new version will be released. My personal opinion is they will change size of the hard drive and might add those features such as ichat.

With the current version you can chat with people on MSN, Yahoo, Yabber. Simply go to Meebo.com with your iphone.

I’m sure the old iPhone will have the same features available via an software update. If you are looking to buy one I would suggest getting a unlocked version. (http://www.macvortex.com had some good deals a while ago) With an unlocked iPhone you can choose the carrier of your choice. Works for me. Good luck.

Buying an Iphone With No Contract

Tuesday, February 16th, 2010

I’ve just read that AT&T will sell the new version of the iPhone without a service contract for $400 dollars more than the price with their two-year plan. This is a break from the rules set when Apple’s popular touch-screen gadget debuted last year, with the prices being quoted at $599 and $699 fr their two iPhone models. But there is a more cost effective way to buy an iPhone without a contract.

Another way to get a iphone is have bad credit! The secret being that AT&T mistakenly said on their press releases that people who buy Apple’s much-hyped iPhone models, the iPhone 3G 8GB and iPhone 3G 16GB but do not meet its credit requirements will still be able to keep the phone without having to commit to a two-year contract!

AT&T, the exclusive U.S. service provider for iPhone until 2009, had said in the months leading up to the phone’s launch that customers would be required to sign up to a two-year contract in order to buy the device, which costs up to $600. However, the companies did not widely publicize that customers who do not pass its credit test have the option to pay for their service on a month-by-month basis, escaping what some consider a restrictive two-year plan.

After buying an iPhone, customers are required to go to Apple’s iTunes Web music store to activate the phones. When it came to activating the device, AT&T customers were given a code to tap into iTunes, proving they were already approved for the service and allowing them to skip some steps in the online process. Apple customers would have to go through that process at home in front of their computer.

If they found out that they did not meet the requirements, they would be offered the option of signing up for a prepaid plan, which allows customers to pay for calls in advance. While prepaid call charges are more expensive than per-minute charges for postpay customers who pay monthly bills, prepaid customers do not have to commit to keep the service.

How can i use itunes on my Iphone 3g with turbo sim and is jailbroken?

Tuesday, February 16th, 2010

I just got an iphone 3g and got it with turbo sim and i also got it jailbroken and i tried using itunes and it says that the sim in the iphone is not supported so i just want to know how is it that i can use it.Thanks.

If you get a message like that with iTunes that means phone is not unlocked.

it still looking for specific carrier !! (wereu able to make calls ??)

try using PwnageTool (its available for mac, if u dont have one use ones who has it.. just one time thing)
of try QuickPwn (for windows)

this PwnageTool is free and it replaces your Bootloader so that your iTunes wont look for the specific carrier !!

detailed procedure you can find it here !!
